In the holy presence of Anushastā Ācāryashree Mahāshraman, the monograph series of Bhagwan Mahavir International Research Center (BMIRC, Jain Vishva Bharti, Ladnun) was unveiled by Pujya Gurudev at Mahashramana Vatika, Shamshabad (Telangana) on 8th November 2020.

HH Acharya Shri Mahashramanji; the eleventh Acahrya, the supreme head of Jain Shvetambar Terapanth sect and the Anushasta of the Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (Deemed-to-be University), Ladnun congratulated the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Pro. B.R. Dugar for bringing out a monographic series on a wide variety of contemporary philosophical issues under the sphere of the Jainological studies. He expressed his satisfaction to see the monographic studies concerned with questions that cannot be addressed from the standpoint of a single discipline. He blessed the Vice-Chancellor Prof B.R. Dugar with the belief that monographs covering various dimensions of Jainism would be respected by the academia as an outstanding work, a monument of erudition and philosophical appreciation all over the globe.

The program to release the monographs was inaugurated by the divine sound of Mahamantra Namokar. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Jain Vishva Bharati Institute, Prof. B.R. Dugar presented the monograph series to Acharya Gurudev and Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakpragyaji.

Prof. B.R. Dugar, stated the purpose and the utility of the monograph series for understanding Jain philosophy which is indeed true philosophy. Further he said that “keeping in mind the fact that, people of any field can take advantage of this by understanding it in simple language, BMIRC took the initiative to write a monograph on each Jain concept, so that every person can become familiar with the scientism of Jainism”.

Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakpragya Ji said ‘The source of understanding Jainism is our Shvetambara and Digambara Prakrit Agamas (Canonical Literature in Prakrit Language), which are filled with immense knowledge. Through these monographs, a common person will also be able to understand its essence in simple language and at the same time will be attracted to read the canonical literature in depth and be inspired.

On this momentous occasion, the President of Chaturmas Arrangement Committee Shri Mahendra Bhandari, Board member of the JVBI, T. Amarchandji Lunkad Shri Santosh ji Katrela ,Shri Dharmchand Ji Lunkar, Shri Kevalchandji Mandot, B. Ramesh ji Bohra, , and other distinguished guests were present, and everyone appreciated and admired the effort.

This monograph series, based on the diverse theories and themes of Jain Philosophy which have been prepared with the great efforts of Prof. SamaniRijuPrajna Ji (Director of BMIRC) and with the cooperation of renowned scholars of the country.
